Active Meditation

Do you feel stuck, listless or dull?

Guided Active Meditations are designed to facilitate a release of old patterns, focus you in the present and help you tap into your creative potential.  They help you declutter your psyche and heal old wounds. Through breathing and movement you clear out the things that get in the way of loving and expressing yourself.  The possibilities are endless – each time is a magical journey, every meditation is unique and they are great for beginning or experienced mediators.  

The meditation itself lasts about an hour with some welcoming instructions and time to set intentions at the beginning.  Doors lock at 9:45 so as not to interrupt the process. There will be an opportunity to integrate this transformative experience afterwards.

Bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothes.   We have a limited supply of meditation cushions/bolsters and blankets.  Feel free to bring your own meditation cushion or chair.  Please refrain from wearing perfumes and other scented products.

Sara and Thomas Stout are breathing new life into the Twin Cities with their dynamic experiential workshops. Participants describe feeling supported to be their full selves, happy and cared for. Offerings include Active Meditations on Sunday mornings from 9:30 to 11AM plus interactive SkyDancing Tantra Workshops on Saturday evenings.

Active Meditations – Sundays 9:30-11am

This is a 1-2 Chili Pepper event and has no nudity. You are asked to wear comfortable clothes and can participate as much or as little feels comfortable. Come alone or bring a friend. Open to all genders and orientations ages 18 and up. We encourage you to open your heart and see all other participants as the divine beings they truly are.

Open Minds Fusion Studio is on the southeast corner of Lake St & Garfield Ave So. It faces Garfield, not Lake St. Enter parking lot from Garfield Ave just south of Lake St.
Notes on accessibility: The studio is located on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. Active Meditations may be done while standing, sitting or lying on floor mats. Please bring soft blankets, pillows or bolsters for your comfort. If you have physical limitations where sitting or lying on a mat is uncomfortable, contact us in advance. Please refrain from wearing perfumes and other scented products.
